£26,450 per year + bonus opportunities Permanent | Full-time | 5 days per week, including weekends

Cash Shop is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a busy, hands-on role where you'll be dealing with customers every day, processing transactions, handling cash and helping customers with our range of products and services. You don't need previous experience in pawnbroking. If you're friendly, reliable, good with people and willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

No two days are exactly the same. Your role will include:

  • Serving customers in store and dealing with telephone and online enquiries
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handling cash and balancing your till at the end of your shift
  • Testing and evaluating electronics and precious metals
  • Helping customers with our products and services
  • Building good relationships with customers and encouraging repeat business
  • Keeping the store clean, organised and well presented
  • Checking and managing stock
  • Opening and closing the store when required

You'll receive training on our products, systems and processes, so you can build your knowledge and confidence in the role.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is friendly and comfortable speaking to customers
  • Has good communication skills
  • Is reliable and trustworthy
  • Is confident handling cash and working with numbers
  • Has a positive, practical approach to work
  • Can work well independently but also enjoys being part of a team
  • Is willing to learn and take on new responsibilities

Previous experience in retail, customer service, sales, cash handling or pawnbroking would be useful, but isn't essential.

Job Function
