This position will be responsible for all aspects of customer service support for Armstrong Fluid Technology’s Middle East Business, offering a high standard of customer service and maintaining excellent communication with customers while ensuring a proactive, efficient response to their needs.

You will act as an interface between customers, sales, production, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Entry
    • Entering customer orders (checking on customer accounts, item codes, prices, stock, lead time, and delivery time)
    • Ordering goods at production
    • Creating and confirming order acknowledgments
  • Claims handling
  • Finance
    • Creating proforma invoices
    • Supporting the Finance department in following overdue invoices
  • Logistics
    • Issuing delivery notes
    • Organizing deliveries and collections with forwarders

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

Education and Experience

  • Relevant experience in a customer service, inside sales or order management role, preferably in a HVAC, industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Completed vocational training or a degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM tools.

Technical Skills:

  • Good understanding of technical products, preferably in HVAC, pumps, valves, or fluid systems.
  • Proficiency in order processing, sales administration, and inventory coordination.
  • Basic commercial skills to support sales teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and business software platforms.

Soft skills and other requirements:

  • Business fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, flexible, and ‘right-first-time’ approach
  • Knowledge of import/export rules and customs regulations
  • Previous experience in the HVAC business would be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
