Customer Service Resolution Officer x5
- Location: Stafford (Office-Based)
- Temporary Pay: £15.60 per hour
- Potential Permanent Salary: £32,349.96 per annum
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract: Temporary (8–12 weeks initially)
- Start Date: Monday 3 August 2026
- Interview Date: Thursday 30 July 2026 (via Microsoft Teams)
We are currently recruiting five Customer Service Resolution Officers to join a busy and customer-focused contact centre based in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced customer service professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy resolving customer enquiries efficiently and professionally.
This is a full-time, office-based temporary role with the potential to become permanent for successful candidates. Applicants must be available to attend a Microsoft Teams interview on Thursday 30 July and be able to start on Monday 3 August 2026.
The Role
As a Customer Service Resolution Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering an outstanding service across multiple communication channels. You'll take ownership of customer enquiries, aiming to resolve issues at the first point of contact while providing an empathetic and professional experience.

You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure repairs, maintenance requests and customer concerns are handled efficiently, while identifying opportunities to improve services and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality first contact resolution service via telephone and other communication channels.
- Handle a wide range of customer enquiries professionally and empathetically.
- Accurately record customer interactions and ensure all follow-up actions are completed.
- Schedule repairs and appointments while coordinating with operational teams.
- Support the delivery of same-day repairs and other housing-related services.
- Recognise and escalate safeguarding concerns, vulnerable customers and urgent issues where appropriate.
- Identify and log customer complaints in line with company procedures.
- Work within service level agreements and quality standards to deliver excellent customer service.
- Assist with administrative duties during quieter periods.
- Ensure GDPR and data protection procedures are always followed.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in a customer service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a calm and patient approach.
- Ability to handle challenging or sensitive conversations professionally.
- Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A genuine customer-first attitude and positive approach.

Desirable
- Previous contact centre experience.
- Experience within housing, repairs or maintenance services.
- Understanding of the needs of vulnerable or diverse customers.
Working Hours
- Temporary Contract Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Should the role become permanent, working hours will be based on a rota covering 8:00am to 8:00pm, seven days a week, while remaining 36 hours per week.
