Our client is a global technology leader developing advanced solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company is looking for an experienced German-Speaking Customer Service Representative (m/f/d). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, international environment where engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything.
Position Overview
The German-Speaking Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring efficient order processing, effective inventory management, and seamless coordination among customers, Sales, and international manufacturing sites to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Provide professional customer support via email, telephone, customer portals, and additional communication channels to ensure a smooth customer journey through proactive communication and effective issue resolution.
- Order & Forecast Management: Process customer orders, forecasts, and purchase orders using internal Order Management and ERP systems.
- Inventory Coordination: Manage consigned inventory and collaborate directly with customers to forecast inventory consumption and requirements.
- Supply Chain & Operations Alignment: Coordinate closely with manufacturing sites in Switzerland and Malaysia to place, monitor, and expedite customer orders.
- Delivery & Delay Tracking: Proactively communicate order delays, manage backorders, and provide customers with timely delivery updates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, Product Management, and other internal teams to resolve customer inquiries and operational issues.
- Returns & Documentation: Process RMAs, service quotations, and customer return requests, maintaining accurate and complete documentation.
- Financial & Billing Support: Assist Accounts Receivable and Sales with resolving purchase orders, invoicing, and payment-related issues.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate customer and order information across internal systems.

Candidate Qualifications
Required:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer support, order management, operational support, or a comparable role.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
- Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience working with ERP and order management systems.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international and cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree.
