About us
JK Floorheating is a Dutch business with over 30 years’ experience and a leading UK supplier of underfloor heating systems, serving residential, commercial and trade customers across the country. With a reputation built on technical expertise, quality products and outstanding customer service, we support everything from single-room retrofits to large-scale new builds.
We are a growing, ambitious business with a close-knit team who are passionate about what we do. This is a great time to join us as we expand our sales function and invest in the people who will drive our next chapter.
The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our Exeter office. This is a telephone and email-based role at the heart of our sales operation, handling inbound enquiries from customers who are considering underfloor heating for their projects.
You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers — your ability to understand their requirements quickly, provide accurate product guidance and turn interest into orders will directly contribute to business growth. You will work closely with our Field Sales team, providing information and administrative support to ensure new customers are onboarded smoothly. You will also need to liaise with members of our Operational team who manage branches and installation teams across the country to ensure jobs are smoothly transitioned from sale to install.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
