Customer Service and Sales Support Representative

Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-related annual bonus
Location: Uxbridge area
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, hybrid working

Enjoy helping customers, solving problems and keeping everything running smoothly? We are recruiting for our client for a Customer Service and Sales Support Representative to join a friendly and supportive business in the Uxbridge area.

This is a varied position combining customer service, order support and day-to-day commercial administration. You will be helping customers throughout the order process, responding to enquiries and working closely with colleagues and external partners to make sure issues are resolved efficiently.

For someone who enjoys building relationships, taking ownership and being part of a close-knit team, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop a long-term career.

The Role:

  • Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email
  • Processing orders and providing day-to-day sales support
  • Coordinating returns, replacements, refunds and exchanges
  • Investigating customer queries and complaints and working towards practical resolutions
  • Liaising with colleagues, suppliers and delivery partners to keep customers informed
  • Maintaining accurate customer and order information
  • Preparing clear and professional written correspondence
  • Highlighting recurring customer issues and supporting improvements to service

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous customer service experience within a commercial environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to write professional customer emails independently
  • Good organisation skills and confidence managing several priorities
  • Good general IT skills and experience using business systems
  • A proactive, helpful and customer-focused approach
  • Previous sales support or order-processing experience would be advantageous
  • Experience working with technical products would be beneficial but is not essential
