Job Title: Customer Service Specialist

Rate: £14.67 per hour

Location: York

Inside IR35

About the Role

This is an exciting Customer Support role that comes with full training and progression for the right candidate! The role includes answering contacts from internal colleagues and remotely performing fixes and tasks for a wide range of IT-related issues and requests. There will be an opportunity to grow and develop your skills through additional responsibilities with the potential to secure permanency.


Responsibilities

  • Our company is committed to providing a first-class service. We think, talk, and act “customer”, not tickets.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by supporting internal colleagues based mainly across the UK via telephone, live chat, or self-service channels.
  • Remotely provide support and connect to devices where appropriate to apply known fixes.
  • Encompasses many standardized and documented support procedures for applications, operating systems, hardware, mobile devices, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Problem solve and confidently guide colleagues in providing a solution.
  • Work in a dynamic and lively team set within a large, busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Work to agreed service levels, contributing to targets by making sure queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and consistency in this role.

Requirements

  • You don’t need bags of experience as full training and support will be given on all aspects of the role.
  • A technical background is not essential; however, an understanding or knowledge of things like Microsoft tools, business/office/home IT environments is desirable.
