We're hiring for a Service Advisor to support our aftersales department covering multiple brands including Kia, Ford, and Chery in Cosham. If you are looking for an opportunity to provide excellent customer service to our new and existing customer base, we'd love to hear from you! Experience of working in the motor/automotive industry would be advantageous.
As a Service Advisor you will be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicle in for a service.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Booking vehicles into the diary
- Ensuring the customer database is updated and accurate
- Support the profitability of the service department by using trained and professional sales techniques
- Ensuring customers are familiar with the variety of workshop services
- Accurately recording vehicle faults
- Liaising with the service technicians to keep track of vehicles progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready for customer collection on time
- Obtaining authority and payments for repairs

Qualifications
- A good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
Required Skills
- You will have effective communication skills (verbal and written) in order to professionally interact with customers (face to face and over the phone)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Able to manage your time effectively to prioritise your workload and meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
- Core skills in computing (essential), including web systems, email, and use of excel, with a keen eye for detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience of working in the motor/automotive industry would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a target-driven role (advantageous)

Please be advised that any new starters joining the business in their first week will be expected to attend a structured induction programme that will involve 2 days at our training academy in Portsmouth. More details will be shared at interview. Successful candidates will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including right to work verification and DBS checks.
