Customer Service Administrator / Client Relations Specialist

📍 Ware, Hertfordshire

💰 £28,000 – £30,000

🕐 Full-time | Monday–Friday

🏢 Onsite initially, with hybrid working expected once settled into the role


We’re hiring for a growing technology services business looking for an organised, personable Customer Service Administrator to become a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

This is a varied position where you’ll support multiple departments and help keep everything running smoothly – from handling customer enquiries through to coordinating installations, equipment, and service requests.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Handling customer enquiries and making sure issues are followed through to resolution
  • Coordinating engineer visits, installations, collections, and equipment movements
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and different internal departments
  • Managing shared inboxes and keeping customer information and records up to date
  • Supporting new customer onboarding and processing new orders/deals
  • Ordering equipment, parts, and consumables
  • Providing general administrative and operational support across the business

What we’re looking for:

  • Around 1–2 years' experience within customer service, administration, or another phone-based role
  • Confident and professional communication skills – both over the phone and via email
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Someone comfortable managing several tasks at the same time
  • Friendly, proactive, and happy speaking with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
  • CRM or database experience would be beneficial
