Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering positive outcomes for both clients and colleagues. You will support clients with their investment portfolios, work closely with Financial Advisors, and contribute to initiatives that improve client experience, processes, and procedures.

This is a fast-paced phone heavy role offering excellent development opportunities, ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a portfolio of client investment accounts
  • Work in conjunction with Financial Advisors to deliver high-quality client service
  • Maintain and organise paper and electronic filing systems
  • Proactively contact clients to provide regular updates on their account
  • Respond to product-specific client queries
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Manage ad-hoc and delegated tasks on behalf of the aligned business leader

Person Specification

Experience & Background

  • Previous experience in customer support, administration, hospitality, or retail
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
  • No prior financial services experience required – full training provided

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Experience with diary and inbox management
  • Ability to manage administrative processes and meet deadlines and SLAs
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Team-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented

Training & Development

  • 12-week training programme (fully paid) + office based during training
  • Clear career pathways across the business
  • Opportunity to complete qualifications to become a legally qualified Financial Advisor in their central advice team
