Customer Service Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to help lead our growing Customer Service team at The Nursery Store.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will support our Customer Service Management team in delivering an outstanding experience for our customers while driving team performance, coaching colleagues, and continually improving how we work.

You will play a key role in developing people, managing daily operations, and ensuring our customers receive a consistent, fair, and efficient service across every channel.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting a team of Customer Service Advisors.
  • Coaching colleagues to achieve individual and departmental KPIs.
  • Managing daily workflow across email, live chat, telephone, social media, and marketplace platforms.
  • Handling complex customer queries and escalated complaints.
  • Monitoring quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Producing performance reports and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Working closely with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
  • Supporting training, development, and performance reviews.
  • Helping create a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture.

What We’re Looking For

You will already have experience supervising or leading a customer service team and enjoy helping others succeed.

You will be confident making decisions, solving problems, and managing competing priorities while maintaining a strong customer focus.

We are looking for someone who is:

With experience of:

  • Supervisory experience within a customer service environment.
  • Strong coaching and people management skills.
  • Experience handling customer complaints and escalations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems.

Hours and Salary

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week across Monday – Sunday.

Salary up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Our office is easy to reach:

  • Just off Junction 22 of the M60/A62.
  • Free onsite parking available.
  • Closest train station: Moston.
  • Closest tram stop: Hollinwood (5-minute walk).
