Help bring life-changing treatments to patients across Europe
Do you want your work to have a direct impact on patients' lives?
At Abacus Medicine Pharmaceuticals, we ensure that patients have timely access to critical medicines and support programmes across international markets. As our HCP & Patient Support operations continue to grow, we're looking for a German-speaking HCP & Patient Support Associate to join our team and play a key role in supporting healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing function at the heart of our operations. You'll work closely with customers, logistics, finance, quality, and healthcare professionals to make sure treatments reach patients smoothly and efficiently. No two days are the same, and your work will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes.
As we continue preparing for the launch of new programmes and expand our support across the DACH region, you'll have a particular focus on supporting German-speaking customers and coordinating sales orders, while also contributing to a variety of other processes and initiatives across the business.
What you'll be doing
As our HCP & Patient Support Associate, you'll act as a central point of coordination between multiple stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence and a seamless customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and validating customer information via phone and email
- Managing and coordinating global orders to ensure timely delivery of pharmaceutical products
- Supporting healthcare professionals, patients, and customers with enquiries and requests
- Handling inbound and outbound communications in German and English
- Ensuring customer data is accurately maintained in our systems
- Triaging and resolving customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Coordinating closely with internal teams, including Logistics, Finance, Quality, and Commercial functions
- Supporting controlled distribution and training programme administration
- Providing customers with access to online training platforms and ongoing support when needed
- Assisting with product, pharmacovigilance, and medical enquiry processes in accordance with internal procedures
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experiences
- Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to the ongoing development of our patient support operation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
