About The Role

Based in Northampton, this temporary Customer Service position with Pertemps Northampton pays £12.71 per hour and runs through the end of November. Working on the hire desk within a customer office, you will manage roughly 300 daily tickets, handle customer queries, and liaise with client depots to meet requirements. Duties include resolving invoice and credit issues, collating weekly KPI data, and producing performance reports. You will also spot opportunities for sales growth. This varied role demands strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to work under pressure. Prior experience in a similar coordinator or administrative capacity would prove beneficial, as would confidence using multiple systems simultaneously.

Customer Service

Based on the hire desk in our customer office, the Customer Hire and Sales Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all business between our Major Account customer and client is carried out in an efficient and effective manner.

This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible for managing customer queries, liaising with client depots to ensure the customer's requirements are being met and identifying opportunities for sales growth. Average tickets a day is 300+

Successful Applicants Should Demonstrate The Following

  • Significant experience working within a customer service role, preferably within the Construction/Hire industry.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment whilst building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent administration skills with experience using MS Office packages and strong attention to detail.
  • Driving Licence Is Preferred But Not Essential.
