Customer Services Administrator
Shrewsbury
£25,500 Rising to £26,600 after probation
Permanent
Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
We are currently supporting our prestigious client who are looking for a Customer Services Administrator to join their well-established company in Shrewsbury. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers calling into the business. The main priority is to answer the telephone and deal with requests from clients and customers that require a routine response, as well as responding to incoming general enquiry emails. For more complex issues, direct calls or emails to the appropriate person.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Use mail merges to deliver general correspondence to clients and leaseholders.
- Work with the Department Head or Branch Manager and Team Managers in the preparation of and responses to, all client, contractor and customer communications whether by telephone, e-mail, fax or letter.
- Process, scan, photocopy and file documents as required.
- Assist in uploading documentation to the various internal systems.
- Maintain and update the diary of appointments for the Department Manager or Branch Manager and team managers, inspection checklists, notes of client meetings.
- Under the direction of the individual Managers, organize and issue works orders for routine maintenance such as cleaning, gardening and other low risk maintenance.
- Liaise with other departments to obtain or provide information relating to the portfolio.
- Attend internal meetings as required.
- Complete all mandatory online training courses in a timely manner and to take part in optional training courses as considered appropriate by the Department Head or Branch Manager.
- Be courteous and professional in all dealings with clients, customers, contractors and general public.
- Be punctual at all times and ensure that you are dressed in accordance with the Dress Code.
- Be an active team member; contributing to the motivation and achievements of the department or branch.

Requirements
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual who has excellent customer service skills. Working in a professional service environment, we need someone who is keen to learn and support colleagues and clients to the highest of standards. Whilst some people enjoy working in this specific role, this can be an excellent entry point into the business where you can undertake specific qualifications that can help you progress into higher level roles in the business. This client is usually open to paying for these qualifications to help you grow further in the company.
