PURPOSE OF ROLE
The role will be responsible for maintaining various customer service functions, all within a fast moving, ever changing, competitive environment.
Personal Characteristics and Experience Profile Required:
The principal skills and experiences, which the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate, are:
- 2 + Years experience in a similar role
- Excellent English (both written and spoken)
- Competent in using Microsoft Office suite of applications (MS Excel and Word experience)
- Accurate, articulate, courteous, a friendly telephone manner, ability to work well under pressure, flexible, detailed and completely dedicated to work schedule.
- Independent but able to work in a team environment, together with a desire to ensure the customers experience is “world class”
- Attendance at in-house and external training courses will be also necessary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES
- Receiving, checking and entering customer orders on our ERP system (SAP)
- Dealing with customer enquiries, requests, backorders and record management.
- Liaising with Carriers/Couriers to ensure efficient & timely delivery of product to customers
- Maintaining Quality systems and procedures
- Managing Customer back orders.
- Supporting Sales Team & Managers
- Liaising with the accounts department to resolve accounts queries
- Dealing with product returns and credit notes.
- Complete all documentation accurately and ensure tasks are in compliance with appropriate procedures, SOPs and EHS regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & experience:
- Candidate will ideally have two years previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a Service environment.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Working knowledge of SAP is desirable
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (MS Excel & Word)
- 3rd level qualification desirable but not essential (experience in a similar role preferred)

- Excellent numerical skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Team player while also the ability to work on own initiative
The successful candidate will be:
- Flexible, hardworking and enjoy working with people.
- Articulate, courteous with a friendly telephone manner.
- Ability to work well under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines and standard operating procedures.
- Independent but able to work in a team environment, supporting team objectives.
