Customer Services Assistant
Salary: £31,646.31 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri)
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Excellent benefits package including 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and up to £2,000 annual retention bonus subject to eligibility criteria (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to maintaining clearance requirements.
We have an opportunity for a dedicated Customer Services Assistant to join our team delivering high-quality Total Facilities Management (TFM) services. In this dynamic and varied role, you will deliver exceptional customer care while supporting core operational services, including Desk Management, Car Parking administration, Locker allocations, and Switchboard operations.
This is a full time position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday working various 8-hour shifts between 6:30am and 7pm.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding, efficient customer service as an active member of the G4S Customer Services Hub.
- Work flexibly across Customer Services teams to maintain seamless administrative workflow and operational support.
- Act as a key point of contact to resolve general customer enquiries, requests, and service complaints promptly.
- Build and maintain clear, professional communication channels with clients, internal partners, and key stakeholders.
- Provide flexible cover during peak periods or team absences, keeping your line manager promptly informed of any service-related issues.
- Maintain a safe operational environment, adhering strictly to Health & Safety standards for yourself, colleagues, clients, contractors, and visitors.

In order to demonstrate your knowledge we would require candidates to have experience working in a customer service environment. We would particularly encourage candidates with experience in a Facilities Management environment to apply.

Essential Requirements
- Advanced computer skills, including strong command of Microsoft Office applications and operational software.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service in a professional, fast-paced environment.
- Highly flexible approach with the ability to quickly pivot and handle changing operational priorities.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and willing to support team cover as required.
- Strong collaborative skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-functional team.
