Role Overview
As a Key Relationship Consultant (that's our internal name for this role), you'll be the first point of contact for our members, supporting them by phone and email with day-to-day queries and helping them make the most of their membership.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong telephone-based customer service experience who is keen to learn about financial services. Previous mortgage experience is welcome but not essential.
What You'll Do
- Full training will be provided.
- Support members of the Simplybiz Mortgage Club with queries via phone and email, delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Build positive relationships with members and develop an understanding of their business needs.
- Help members access relevant services, resources, events, webinars, and technology solutions.
- Promote valuable opportunities available through their membership.
- Make outbound calls to raise awareness of products, services, campaigns, and events.
- Work with colleagues and partners to help resolve member queries.
- Escalate complex issues when required.
- Develop your knowledge of the mortgage and financial services sector through ongoing training and development.

Essential Requirements
- Experience working in a business-to-business telephone-based customer service, helpdesk, account management, or support role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence speaking with professional customers over the phone.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn about the mortgage and financial services industry.
- A willingness to study towards the CeMAP qualification if not already held.
Desirable Requirements
- Any knowledge of mortgages, lending, financial services, or insurance.
- Experience working with mortgage brokers, financial advisers, lenders, or other regulated businesses.
- Experience in an intermediary, mortgage, banking, or financial services environment.

Location
This is a hybrid role based in Huddersfield. You'll typically work from the office three days per week, with the remaining days working from home. We have plenty of free parking on site and are a 10 to 15 minute walk from the railway station.
