Job Description: Customer Services Representative
The Customer Services Team is a crucial part of the commercial sales organisation, supporting commercial success while maintaining strong customer relationships. You will champion customer care excellence, support order management, and drive sales opportunities by understanding and aligning customer needs with BW’s offerings.
Key Objectives:
- Deliver superior customer experience through proactive support
- Upsell BW products and services with every interaction
- Foster long-term customer partnerships to enhance company performance

Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relations
- Generate quotations and enter sales orders, particularly for spares parts business
- Proactively follow up on customer enquiries, including potential purchases and clarifying proposals
- Collaborate with technical support to resolve customer queries in a timely and accurate manner
Order & Process Management
- Maintain exceptional customer relationships through regular proactive contact
- Advocate for customers regarding order delivery requirements and provide real-time status updates
- Coordinate across all internal departments to ensure seamless end-to-end customer service
Dispute Resolution & Compliance
- Assist with customer claim and complaint resolution, adhering to company policy
- Escalate issues as necessary to ensure satisfactory resolution
Operational Excellence
- Align with best practices by working closely with the UK Customer Services team
- Contribute to organisational goals, driving revenue growth with every interaction
- Minimal UK travel required
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or three to five years’ experience in:
- Technical sales
- Sales support (B2B is preferred)
- Technical understanding or photocopying handling experience replaces part of experience requirements; seniority and commensurate pay may apply

- Customer Relationship Skills Demonstrate outstanding ability to maintain and develop strong B2B relationships
- Goal Orientation Proven ability to drive results and drive business outcomes
- Sales Negotiation Persuasive communicator with a strong ability to articulate value
- Collaboration Willing and able to work effectively in team-based environments
- Organisational Skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Communication Exceptional both oral and written written skills
- Technological Proficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including latest versions)—familiarity with AI tools an asset
- Technical Aptitude Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Initiative Willingness to accept challenges and take proactive ownership
- Growth Mindset Creative problem solver and eager learner
