About The Role
MJF/XPS Self Invested Pensions is part of XPS Pensions Group. We manage relationships with thousands of clients and hundreds of professional financial advice firms. We are only as strong as the people we employ. Our team of specialist staff look after SIPP and SSAS client assets worth £2.5bn. Our emphasis on clients means we provide personal contacts. Key Responsibilities
- Answering queries by phone, letter and email.
- Providing an excellent customer service and keep our clients at the heart of everything we do.
- Using SSASMAN and SWIFT and other computer systems to check and update records.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
- Ensuring the Scanning and Digital Filing is kept up to date.
- Ensuring fee management principles are adhered to.
- Demonstrating ownership of all queries and issues raised ensuring Compliance and SIP department processes are followed at all times.

- Ensuring the quality of your work is of a high standard and meets the company’s standards.
- Working with your manager and as part of a team to achieve targets and respond to the team’s needs.
- Proactively suggesting improvements to the team’s work processes, aiming to improve client service and efficiency.
- Participating in ad hoc tasks when required.
- Displaying a positive attitude while working in a team environment – including participation at team meetings.

Essential
Your Profile:
- Organised, methodical & logical approach to Portfolio Management and Problem Solving.
- Ability to apply a common-sense approach to situations.
- Good time management skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and takes pride in work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Desirable
- Good standard of education.
- Experience administering pension schemes.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to see the ‘bigger picture’.
