Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: £26,936.90 per annum

Grade: O

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30

Location: Gloucester, GL3 4AQ

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Gloucester. If you're organised, detail-oriented and enjoy building strong customer relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

✅ What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Order to Invoice team, you'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring orders and queries are processed accurately and efficiently. You'll play a vital role in maintaining service excellence and supporting the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring orders are accurately processed in SAP.
  • Monitoring and resolving delivery queries to support timely payments.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Managing a shared team mailbox and allocating queries appropriately.
  • Using SAP and customer portals to manage orders and customer information.
  • Producing reports and communications using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintaining organised, audit-ready documentation and records.

✅ What We're Looking For

This role would suit someone with experience in customer service, logistics, distribution, supply chain or administrative environments.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working within logistics, distribution, customer service or supply chain operations.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the confidence to engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using SAP or similar order management systems would be advantageous.
