Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused, technically strong Customer Solutions Advisor to support strategic Custom & Bulk Services (C&B) customers across the EMEA region. As a trusted technical advisor, you will leverage your chemistry expertise and business acumen to translate complex customer requirements into tailored custom chemical solutions. You will partner with commercial, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to develop project proposals, ensure successful execution, and build long-term customer relationships that support profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Partnership & Solution Development
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective Custom & Bulk projects.
- Act as the conduit between operations, supply chain, commercial teams, and other cross-functional partners to ensure project feasibility and successful execution.
- Collaborate with functional partners to develop accurate project cost estimates based on customer requirements.
- Understand customer business objectives and align solutions to meet technical and commercial needs.
- Generate project proposals and customer quotations required to successfully execute custom solutions.
- Coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery while aligning with site capabilities and capacity.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate risks or barriers that could impact customer satisfaction or project delivery.

Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or PhD in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Business or Project Management qualification or certification is preferred.

Experience
- Experience working with analytical chemistry, custom chemicals, or related technical products.
- Experience collaborating across commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.
- Prior chemical manufacturing or plant experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong customer focus with a proven ability to build lasting relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Strong business acumen and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with a high degree of autonomy.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
