An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Solutions Consultant to join a progressive software solutions provider delivering mission critical training and readiness solutions to highly regulated, safety critical sectors including aviation and defence.

The business supports organisations operating in demanding environments around the world. With a strong focus on customer success, technical excellence and continuous improvement, this is a business investing in the people who look after its customers across EMEA.

This is a key customer facing position, acting as the vital link between technical solutions and customer success and reporting directly to the General Manager for EMEA.

Home based (UK), with UK, European and occasional international travel

Up to circa £55,000 per annum + benefits

The Role

You will take ownership of a portfolio of customer relationships across EMEA, ensuring the company's applications integrate seamlessly into each customer's environment and continue to deliver real business value.

The role is particularly focused on understanding and addressing each customer's unique needs and challenges, providing expert technical support and strategic guidance to optimise system performance and business outcomes.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, manage complex issues and drive improvements, blending technical expertise, strategic thinking and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main technical point of contact for customers across EMEA, building strong relationships with their technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure applications integrate seamlessly into customer environments and continue to perform as they should.
  • Carry out ongoing analysis of customer environments, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert technical support and strategic guidance to optimise system performance and business outcomes.
  • Manage complex technical issues through to resolution, working closely with internal teams.
  • Ensure compliant service management in line with ITIL best practice.
  • Use SQL reporting and data visualisation to give customers clear insight into how their systems are performing.
  • Coordinate technical professionals and help shape technical strategy, driving operational excellence internally and across the customer base.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent customer and stakeholder skills.

  • Experience in a customer facing technical service or management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate technical professionals and manage technical strategies.
  • A deep understanding of information technology disciplines, including applications, infrastructure and databases.
  • Experience writing SQL queries, using SQL Reporting Services and generating reports in SQL.
  • Knowledge of data modelling and data visualisation.
  • Experience in Application Support Services within an ITIL or managed services environment.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Proven planning and organisational skills.
