Customer Success Manager

Location: Home-based, covering the North of England Travel: UK-wide with occasional European travel Salary: Competitive + 20% bonus potential

The Role:

We are partnered with a leading technology business within the HVAC, Refrigeration and BMS sectors, looking for a Customer Success Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of established B2B customers.

This is a commercially focused relationship role, ideal for someone who understands the HVACR/BMS market and enjoys developing long-term customer partnerships.

You will act as a key point of contact for customers, understanding their business needs, ensuring they gain maximum value from the company's solutions and identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and account growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B customers across HVAC, Refrigeration and BMS.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Lead regular customer business reviews and account planning.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and increased product adoption.
  • Deliver 5–10% annual growth across your customer portfolio.
  • Understand customer challenges and work with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer across Sales, Engineering, Product and Technical Support.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and sales pipelines.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, retention and account performance.
  • Keep up to date with developments across HVACR, BMS, controls, IoT and connected technologies.
  • Attend customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions across the UK and occasionally Europe.

About You

  • Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Technical Sales or a similar B2B commercial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, BMS or building controls.
  • Proven ability to develop and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Commercially minded with a consultative, customer-first approach.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
