Customer Specialist

Broadway Advice Centre | 40 hours per week

Flexible roster across Monday - Sunday

At ASB, we're all about helping our customers get "One Step Ahead" by providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, our Customer Specialists play a vital role in creating positive experiences while helping customers confidently navigate their everyday banking needs. Based in our Broadway Advice Centre, you'll join a supportive team passionate about making banking simple, easy, and convenient for the communities we serve. The successful candidate must be fluent in both Mandarin and English to support the needs of our diverse customer base.

Te Tūranga | The role

As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the welcoming face of ASB, helping customers with a wide range of everyday banking needs while identifying opportunities to improve their financial wellbeing. You'll support customers across multiple channels, educate them on digital banking solutions, and connect them with specialist teams when needed.

You'll have meaningful conversations that help customers get the most from their banking experience while delivering service that is simple, personal, and proactive.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Is fluent in both Mandarin and English
  • Has previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience
  • Enjoys building relationships and helping people
  • Has strong communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service
  • Is comfortable learning new technology and helping others use digital tools
  • Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and adaptability
  • Has excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Brings a positive, proactive, and growth-focused mindset
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Can work a flexible roster across Monday - Sunday
