We're looking for a customer-focused and people-oriented Customer Specialist to join our Hastings Advice Centre on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a Monday to Friday position, offering the opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of New Zealand's leading banks while enjoying great work-life balance.
Te tūranga | The role
As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the welcoming face of ASB for our customers, helping them with their everyday banking needs and delivering exceptional service at every interaction.
- No two days are the same
- Support customers with transactions, account enquiries, digital banking solutions and identifying opportunities to connect them with the right specialist when additional support is needed
- Work alongside a supportive team that's passionate about helping customers achieve their financial goals while making a meaningful difference in the Hastings community

We're Interested In People Who
- Have experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, contact centres, administration or other customer-facing environments
- Enjoy building relationships and helping people find solutions
- Are confident using technology and learning new systems
- Have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering great customer experiences
- Thrive in a team environment while taking ownership of their work
- Demonstrate our values of Care, Courage and Curiosity in the way they work and interact with others
- Bring positivity, energy and a willingness to learn
Banking experience is helpful, but it's your attitude, customer focus and desire to make a difference that matter most.
