About the Customer Success Team
Mixpanel’s Customer Success & Solutions Engineering team acts as analytics consultants, embedding themselves within enterprise customer teams. Their role involves:
- Guiding prospects and customers from early engagement to long-term success.
- Partnering closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver value-driven self-serve analytics solutions.
- Managing technical implementations, change management, and ROI execution across projects.
About the Role
The Customer Success Architect ensures customers derive maximum value from Mixpanel, from pre-sales proof of concepts to post-sales implementation and adoption rollouts. Key responsibilities include:
- Advocating for strategic ROI delivery, ensuring Mixpanel lengthens customer sustainability.
- Onboarding customers with scalable data governance and health monitoring.
- Driving data trust, product adoption, and harnessing analytics to accelerate business outcomes.
- Consulting on journey optimization, feature adoption, and governance for 100+ end-user teams in large enterprises.
Responsibilities
Strategic Consultation & Business Alignment
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, offering guidance on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders (from developers to executives) to define and execute analytics strategies.

Implementation & Adoption Leadership
- Own customer success outcomes, documenting and achieving ROI measurable success stories.
- Lead data quality initiatives, ensuring clean, actionable insights.
- Scale implementations across technical teams to embedded analytics solutions.
Technical & Change Management
- Optimize Mixpanel deployments, troubleshoot integrations, and impact feature adoption at scale.
- Implement data optimization projects, improving data models, scalability, and trust.
- Bridge the gap between business and technical needs, aligning Mixpanel to org-wide objectives.
Internal Advocacy & Collaboration
- Partner with Mixpanel’s Product and Engineering teams to prioritize customer-driven innovation.
- Serve as a technical sponsor, ensuring solutions address real-world operational challenges.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in customer success, professional services, consulting, or technical project management.
- Experience in ROI calculation, especially for new tool deployments.
- Strong communication skills – from technical deep dives to executive impact briefs.
- Process discipline – managing cross-functional projects, balancing scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Adaptability – eagerness to learn new technologies and evolving customer needs.
Bonus Experience
- Core data skills: SQL, dbt, Python, BI tools, or product analytics platforms.
- Cloud/data warehouse experience: Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift/Azure.
- Impelmentation methods: SDKs, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Event Streaming, Reverse ETL.
- Fluency in other programming languages.
