THE OPPORTUNITY

A unique role for someone with a strong commercial laundry operations background who enjoys solving problems, working with data and helping customers achieve measurable improvements. You'll start by supporting our existing customer base, then grow into onboarding our new UK customers and becoming a trusted operational advisor by owning long-term customer relationships that drive ROI to the customer. Each success story will lead to more opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Success: Own key accounts; run operational review meetings using Spindle data; spot bottlenecks and improvement opportunities; build action plans; track KPIs and ongoing value delivered.
  • Operational Consulting: Use Spindle's analytics to improve labor productivity, workforce performance, production efficiency, OEE, maintenance performance, water/energy use, fulfilment, planning and continuous improvement.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Software Development, Technical Support, Installation Teams and Senior Management to ensure successful delivery and an outstanding customer experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential experience:

  • Commercial laundry industry background is essential (e.g. Production Manager, Plant Manager or Operations Manager), with strong understanding of laundry workflows, continuous improvement and operational KPIs
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing role (customer success, account management or operational consulting)

Personal qualities:

  • Analytical, structured and self-motivated; dynamic, curious and customer-focused
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders; able to build rapport across all levels of an organisation, from the shop floor to the executive team
  • High degree of accuracy and strong organisational skills; comfortable handling sensitive or confidential situations
  • Able to run multiple projects at once and travel extensively

Desired skills:

  • Strong project management, analytical and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience analysing operational data and dashboards, and translating findings into clear, customer-ready narratives (email analyses, presentations, business reviews), strongly preferred
  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar) a plus
  • Solid Excel/Office skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) a plus
  • ERP/MES/manufacturing systems and Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement experience a plus
