ABOUT MIMO

Mimo is an AI-native platform for accounting firms. We automate the recurring work inside the monthly close, from chasing client documents and reconciling transactions to posting adjustments and reviewing VAT before it is filed, so accountants spend their time on judgement instead of admin.

Accounting is being rebuilt around AI right now. We intend to be the ones who rebuild it, and to help the firms that get there first do the best work of their careers. We are a team of 35 across Stockholm and London, backed by top European investors including Northzone and Project A, growing rapidly across the UK's top 10-250 firms, with new markets next.

THE ROLE

Firms are signing up faster than the profession is changing its habits. Getting a firm live on Mimo is the easy part, getting a team of accountants to trust AI with work they have done by hand for twenty years is the real job.

We're now looking for someone who has done that work themselves. You've closed the books, chased clients for bank statements, and wondered why so much of it is still manual. In this role you'll sit with firms as they move onto Mimo, prove the results, and turn early trials into long-term partnerships. It's a rare combination, someone who genuinely understands accounting workflows and wants to be in a customer-facing, commercial role, and it's exactly why this role matters so much.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You'll join our commercial team to help accounting firms adopt AI workflows. Your job is to make sure they don't just try Mimo, they see the results, believe in it, and adopt it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Run onboarding & pilot projects end-to-end. Work side-by-side with accounting firms to onboard their clients onto Mimo and get them live quickly.
  • Drive the business case home. Help firms quantify the time they're saving, track adoption across their client base, and build the evidence that turns a trial into a long-term partnership.
  • Coach on the tech and the change. This is a deep AI product. You'll help teams understand what Mimo does under the hood, build confidence in AI-assisted workflows, and tackle the natural resistance that comes with changing how people have worked for years.
  • Collaborate across Commercial. Work closely with Sales to shape how we explain our product and deliver more value to clients.
  • Be the voice of the customer internally. Feed back to Product and Engineering to shape our roadmap for what should be built next. You'll know our partner firms best and have a direct line to the people building the product.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 2-5 years in practice or the industry. Big 4, Top 100, or another firm with a solid outsourced services function or you've worked as an accountant in industry. You've lived the workflows we're automating.
  • Deep understanding. Of accounting standards and why they matter (e.g. UK GAAP, FRS 102, FRS 105).
  • Commercially minded. You're not just technical - you genuinely enjoy talking to people, understanding their problems, and helping them see a better way. You're comfortable in client-facing conversations, and you don't shy away from a bit of persuasion.
  • Curious about technology. You don't need to be a developer, but you're the person in your team who was already experimenting with AI tools and asking, "Why do we still do it this way?"
  • Organised and self-directed. You'll be managing multiple trials at once across different firms. You need to keep things moving without someone looking over your shoulder.
  • A clear communicator. You can explain complex product functionality to a sceptical senior accountant and make it land.
