A little about us

incident.io is the AI software reliability platform trusted by engineering teams at Netflix, Etsy, and 2,000+ companies who can't afford downtime.

The stakes are real, the talent is insane, and somehow it's a genuinely lovely place to work. We all pull our weight, go the extra mile, and put in the bit of magic most companies don't have time for, all while having fun and never taking ourselves too seriously.

We've raised $96 million from Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Point Nine, and we're growing fast. There's never been a better time to join.

The role in one line

As our first Customer Success Engineer in EMEA, you’ll help shape the team and make sure our most complex customers are built to scale, not just set up for go-live.

What that looks like day to day

Our Customer Success team is at the heart of incident.io. We understand customer challenges and deliver Incident Management solutions that make a real impact.

We take a customer-led approach, working closely with Product to understand and address each customer’s unique challenges. We go beyond satisfaction, aiming to delight customers at every stage and build long-term relationships based on trust, shared success, and mutual growth.

As our first Customer Success Engineer in EMEA, this is a pivotal role with a real chance to shape the team as it grows. You’ll be a strategic technical partner in the post-sales lifecycle and a trusted advisor to our most complex customers, working with CSMs to own onboarding and expansion design. As leading organizations come to rely on incident.io, you’ll guide governance, scalable configuration, and long-term architecture so their incident management programs scale reliably across teams, not just at go-live. You’ll bridge Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, advocating for customers’ technical needs and influencing platform strategy within key accounts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Day to day, that means guiding complex migrations from legacy incident management platforms with operational continuity and clean foundations. It means owning onboarding and expansion design, advising on alerting strategy, escalation structures, workflow automation, and scalable configuration. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to engineering leaders, influencing platform design in complex environments, and establish durable architectural patterns and repeatable deployment frameworks that reduce misconfiguration and support burden. You’ll also partner with Product and Engineering to improve platform scalability and usability.

Who you are

  • You’re confident as a strategic technical partner in client-facing environments.
  • You’ve architected complex SaaS implementations or led enterprise migrations.
  • You think in systems and design solutions that scale across teams and regions.
  • You explain complex technical concepts simply and steer customers toward pragmatic, maintainable solutions.
  • You have clear judgment on scope and ownership, knowing when to go deep and when to hand back to CSM or Support.
  • You can structure and drive technical onboarding and migration work-streams, partnering with CSMs to keep projects on track.
