Customer Success Manager
Help some of the world's largest organisations turn learning into lasting impact
AI, technology and digital capability are changing how organisations operate, compete, and grow. But transformation only works if businesses have the people and skills to deliver it and can turn that investment into meaningful results.
That is where QA comes in.
QA is the UK’s largest technology training provider, working with 96% of the FTSE and most Fortune 500 companies to help organisations build the AI, technology, digital and human skills they need for the future.
In the last three years alone, QA has supported 4,000+ organisations and more than one million learners. And as businesses continue to invest in AI, data, cloud, cyber security and digital transformation, ensuring those investments deliver real value is more important than ever.
That creates a significant opportunity for experienced customer-focused professionals who know how to build strong partnerships, navigate complexity and turn customer ambitions into measurable outcomes.
Where you come in
As a Customer Success Manager, you'll take ownership of the operational relationships across a portfolio of strategic customers, making sure they get the greatest possible value from working with QA.
Your job is to understand what success looks like for each organisation, build the relationships needed to deliver it and ensure QA consistently meets its commitments.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner who understands their priorities, anticipates challenges and helps them achieve their wider workforce and learning objectives. You'll have ownership of customer success, from contract performance and service delivery through to retention, adoption and long-term account development.
You'll work across QA's learning portfolio, which includes:
- Apprenticeships
- Instructor-led training
- Self-paced learning
- Hands-on labs
You'll need to balance strong customer relationships with commercial outcomes, identifying risks early, protecting existing business and working alongside our sales teams to uncover opportunities for further growth.
But you'll be doing that with an established customer portfolio, a highly relevant proposition and the opportunity to influence how some of the largest organisations in the UK and globally develop their people.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of delivering meaningful outcomes across your customer portfolio by:
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and becoming a key partner in their learning and workforce development strategies
- Understanding customer goals, success measures and business priorities to develop and deliver effective customer success plans
- Owning contract performance, customer retention and service commitments, ensuring customers receive the value they expect
- Working across QA's internal teams to coordinate delivery, resolve challenges and maintain a consistently strong customer experience
- Using customer insights, performance data and feedback to demonstrate value, measure outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Proactively identifying risks to customer satisfaction, contract delivery or retention and taking ownership of finding solutions
- Supporting commercial growth by identifying wider customer needs and working with sales teams to develop opportunities across QA's portfolio
- Driving continuous improvement in how we support customers, while sharing your knowledge and experience with the wider Customer Success team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A market with genuine momentum
The skills agenda has moved significantly. AI adoption, digital transformation and emerging technology are creating new capability gaps across almost every industry.
Organisations are investing in learning and workforce development, but that investment needs to deliver more than completed training programmes.
They need to see the impact on their people, their capabilities and their wider business objectives. QA helps them do that.
As a Customer Success Manager, you'll be at the heart of making that happen. You'll work with customers to understand what they are trying to achieve, ensure their programmes deliver against those expectations and help demonstrate the value of their investment.
And with QA already supporting some of the world's largest organisations, you'll have the opportunity to develop meaningful partnerships across a broad range of industries and complex customer environments.
We'll invest in your development too
QA is a learning business, so development is not just something we sell to customers.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Access QA-authored technology and business learning
- Develop your knowledge of emerging areas including AI, data, cloud and cyber security
- Build your strategic customer relationship and commercial management capabilities
- Gain exposure to complex customer environments and large-scale learning programmes
- Work alongside experienced specialists across sales, delivery and the wider business
- Share your expertise and contribute to the development of the Customer Success team
You'll be expected to bring experience, curiosity and the confidence to take ownership. QA will give you the environment, expertise and opportunity to build on that.
Who tends to do well here?
We're looking for people who are:
- Passionate about delivering meaningful customer outcomes
- Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of retention, contract performance and customer value
- Comfortable managing complex customer relationships and competing priorities
- Proactive in anticipating challenges and finding solutions
- Curious about how organisations operate and what success looks like for them
- Confident using data and customer insights to inform decisions and demonstrate value
- Strong at bringing different teams together to achieve shared goals
- Organised, accountable and comfortable taking ownership
- Motivated by building long-term partnerships rather than simply managing transactions
You should be able to demonstrate how you've managed complex customer needs, built credibility with stakeholders and made a measurable difference to customer satisfaction, retention or performance.
Experience within learning, technology or workforce development would be valuable, but isn't essential.
