Customer Success Manager

Sunderland | £32,000 - £42,000 + Share Options

Ever wanted the chance to build a Customer Success function instead of simply inheriting one?

We're working with a fast-growing B2B SaaS business that's looking for its first dedicated Customer Success Manager. This isn't a role where you'll follow an established playbook - you'll help create it.

You'll take ownership of the customer journey from onboarding through to renewal, helping customers get the most from the platform while building the processes, systems and customer success framework that will support the business as it scales.

The role

  • Own customer onboarding and ensure customers achieve value as quickly as possible.
  • Build long-term relationships across your customer portfolio.
  • Create and improve Customer Success processes, playbooks and retention strategies.
  • Develop systems to identify churn risk before it becomes an issue.
  • Manage renewals and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Work closely with Product and the wider business to feed back customer insight and improve the customer experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
