I'm George Wells, Director of Customer Success for EMEA and LATAM at Teamworks. My team works with some of the world's most respected professional and elite sports organizations, and Italy is our next big focus market in Europe.

You'll own the customer relationship across Italy, support our growing book across Southern Europe, lead our Hub implementations in Italian, and help turn the trust we're building in the region into long-term, renewing customers.

The Role

Position Teamworks for continued growth in Italy and Southern Europe, contributing to company strategy based on market knowledge and ensuring go-to-market plans and growth strategies are aligned with industry needs.

  • Own the end-to-end relationship for a growing book of accounts across Italy and Southern Europe
  • Lead Hub implementations delivered entirely in Italian, partnering with our Product Success team on any non-Hub products
  • Analyze customer data, draw insights to inform accounts’ success, and identify opportunities to increase engagement and drive value.
  • Drive renewals and account health in line with our team's 96.5% renewal track record
  • Partner with a dedicated Italian-speaking Account Executive on demos and cross-sell opportunities, while owning the post-sale relationship
  • Build real, in-person relationships across the region through regular on-site customer visits

What I'm Looking For

What You Must Bring

  • Fluent in both Italian and English, spoken and written; this is non-negotiable for a region where trust is built in-language
  • Based in the UK, with willingness to frequently travel to Italy; face-to-face time is crucial to building relationships
  • Hands-on experience working within a professional sport organization or club; you need to understand how our customers operate day to day
  • Strong project management, data literacy, and communication abilities to translate technical concepts for coaches, medical staff, and administrators
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for customer experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to guide professional sports organizations through software adoption and serve as a trusted voice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • You have experience specifically within professional football

Why This Role

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build our presence in one of the biggest growth markets in European sport, with real autonomy to shape how Teamworks shows up in Italy and beyond.
