Customer Success Manager – First Alert (Public Sector) – Italian & Spanish Speech
About the Role
As a Customer Success Manager, you will drive First Alert, Dataminr’s dedicated Public Sector platform, adoption, renewal, and usage among Italian and Spanish Public Sector accounts. You’ll build a strategy to foster account growth while blending your passion for technology, government, national security, emergency management, and customer success to transform how customers engage with First Alert.
Italian and Spanish language skills are a requirement for this role.
The Opportunity
Expand the scale and impact of First Alert adoption within your portfolio while driving customer success. Key responsibilities include:
- Guide adoption, renewal, upsells, and platform engagement across assigned Italian and Spanish-speaking Public Sector accounts
- Serve as a First Alert Subject Matter Expert, building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop short- and long-term strategies for account growth
- Partner with other Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams to enhance product adoption and retention
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform data-driven decisions, ensuring retention and identifying expansion opportunities
- Conduct quarterly reviews to assess service quality, address risks, and improve customer satisfaction
- Drive product innovation and synthesise customer needs to evolve First Alert based on real-world use cases

You’ll connect Data-driven insights with critical action, helping organisations stay ahead in an unpredictable world.
Responsibilities
Customer & Account Growth
- Drive product adoption, renewal, and expansion within assigned Italian & Spanish Public Sector portfolios
- Retain high-value public sector accounts by building trust and delivering impactful outcomes
- Identify and market new use cases for First Alert within your portfolio
Relationship Management
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers fully understand First Alert’s capabilities and harness its full potential
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Solutions teams to address account needs

Data & Strategic Insights
- Analyze customer feedback and success metrics to detect risks, grow revenue opportunities, and strategise improvements
- Leverage insights to align service improvements with evolving public sector demands (e.g., critical incident response, cybersecurity, disaster management)
Community & Threat Awareness
- Stay informed on real-world risks, emergency protocols, and regional Public Sector priorities in Italy, Spain, and Europe
- Contribute to broader Data mining initiatives focused on security, resilience, and public safety
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Tech, Public Administration, Customer Success, Sales)
- 3-5 years of hands-on Customer Success / Account Management experience, preferably in the Public Sector or software/SaaS industry
- Exceptional Italian and Spanish language proficiency (professional fluency)
- Deep understanding of real-time alerting, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance), emergency management, or public safety operations
- Strong portfolio of public sector engagements, including law enforcement, national security, disaster response, or resilience operations

- Outstanding interpersonal skills – Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-makers
- Proactive, resilient, and adaptive – Thrives in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
- Self-initiating and analytical – Proven ability to drive outcomes independently and with great accountability
- High-level collaborative mindset – Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, escalating issues, and fostering organisational buy-in
- Travel-ready – Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~25-50% of time, as needed)
- Security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain it)
