Customer Success Manager

Professional who works to grow a business and extend its reach in order to increase revenue.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Success Manager to join our team, based in the UK or Luxembourg. In this role, you will build and manage your own client portfolio, support long-term customer satisfaction, and help our customers get the best value from our services. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to strengthen relationships, support growth, and reduce customer churn.

As a Customer Success Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to your clients. You will support them from onboarding through to ongoing service delivery, helping to ensure a smooth experience and a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also identify opportunities to grow our relationships and work with the wider business to deliver excellent service.

Your Tasks

  • Build strong relationships with customers and act as their trusted advisor.
  • Improve the customer experience, encourage engagement, and support organic growth.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and see them through to resolution.
  • Support revenue growth by maintaining existing business and identifying new opportunities in collaboration with business development teams.
  • Anticipate challenges, share best practice, and suggest ideas to improve the customer journey.
  • Provide post-sale support and ensure a smooth transition from acquisition to ongoing account management.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and apply best practice where relevant.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Experience providing customer service support and resolving customer issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence working directly with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • A self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well across different departments.

Desirable Skills

  • Awareness of the latest technology trends and applications in the IP industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Experience in IP lifecycle management from a client perspective.
  • Additional European language skills are a plus.

Requirements

  • Experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or in a relevant role is essential
  • Proven successful sales track record
  • Fluent in English
  • Understands the market and industry trends
  • Effective communication and negotiation
  • Experience in building strong relationships with clients

Desired

  • Experience in customer support
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office and CRM software (such as Salesforce)
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field (such as marketing)
