Customer Success Manager (Transport Practice)

Location: Home-Based, UK

Travel: Regular customer visits and occasional travel to Aylesbury, Cambridge and London, including overnight stays when required

Salary: Starting from £39,000 per annum + generous annual bonus (circa 20%) + car allowance

Full-time or part-time applications welcome

Role Overview:

We're looking for a motivated and collaborative Customer Success Manager to join our Transport Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of transport organisations, helping them unlock the value of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to achieve their strategic goals.

Whether you already have sales experience or are looking to transition into a customer-facing commercial role, we'll support you to develop your skills while working with industry-leading technology and a highly experienced team.

You'll combine customer success, relationship management and business development, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts while helping new customers realise the benefits of Esri technology.

As our Customer Success Manager, you will:

  • Develop and grow Esri UK's presence within the Transport sector
  • Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and key decision-makers
  • Create and deliver Customer Success Plans that maximise customer value and long-term adoption of Esri technology
  • Demonstrate how Esri's GIS solutions support customer objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Identify, negotiate and successfully close commercial opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across sales, customer success, technical and marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer priorities, market developments and emerging opportunities within the transport sector
  • Support customers throughout their journey, ensuring they achieve maximum value from their investment in GIS technology

  • Have a solid understanding of GIS technology (essential)
  • Have experience using Esri technology (desirable)
  • Are interested in developing or progressing a career in sales or customer success
  • Have previous sales, account management or business development experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Have experience working with, or knowledge of, the UK public sector (desirable)
  • Take a consultative approach by understanding customer challenges and recommending appropriate solutions

  • Are commercially minded and motivated by helping grow a successful business
