Customer Success Representative
buymaterials.com is a technology company looking to revolutionise the way building materials are bought and sold. We are a hyper growth company, backed by investors to lead a new way of working within construction. We connect Trade and Builders to our network of independent merchants. Allowing users to source, compare and procure through our end-to-end digital platform via mobile or desktop. We are the UK’s ultimate building materials marketplace.
We are headquartered in Scotland with teams in London and across Europe both building our cutting-edge platform and supporting our growing network of buyers and suppliers.
The Role
There is an exciting opportunity working remotely as part of our inside sales and partner management team. This is a role offering a chance to get in at the ground floor of a hyper growth tech business.

Your role will be to work as a team in dealing with incoming quote and order opportunities, prospecting and recruiting customers and providing a level of help and assistance to our Trade Customers. Your role will be varied both supporting our Partner Success Managers, Field Sales, and Support, being a touch point for our customers building relationships with them. Getting them onboarded and helping them grow on our fantastic platform.
The role will offer plenty of development and growth opportunities as the team increases.
You will be bright, entrepreneurial and ambitious, wishing to join a company who can offer tremendous upside. You will have some inside sales experience already and thrive in that environment with additional training will be provided.

Required Skills and talents
- Minimum 2 Years in an Inside Sales role or Account Management
- Ideally have either Construction Experience, Builders Merchant Experience or have previously had a trade.
- Knowledge of CRM such as Salesforce, Pipedrive or Dynamics a bonus
- Highly effective problem-solving skills and outstanding communication/presentation skills
- Passion for technology and ability to understand technical concepts quickly.
- Demonstrated success in working on many activities concurrently and with minimal direction.
- Excellent work ethic and ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
Compensation
£ 30,000 – £ 35,000 OTE doe
