About Highland Spring
At Highland Spring, delivering great customer service is about much more than getting an order from A to B. It means understanding demand, keeping a close eye on stock, spotting potential issues early and working across the business to make sure our customers get what they need, when they need it.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Customer Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team at our Blackford site, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in FMCG or supply chain who enjoys working with customers, using data to make decisions and bringing different teams together to deliver a great service.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the day-to-day supply chain relationship for key customer accounts.
- Work closely with our Sales, Supply Planning, Demand Planning and logistics teams, as well as directly with customers and our third-party logistics partners.
- Look ahead by reviewing customer demand, sales trends, forecasts and stock levels to identify potential issues before they affect service, and work with colleagues across the business to find the right solution.
- Monitor customer orders, stock availability and demand to help us deliver our 98.5% On Time In Full (OTIF) service target.
- Review future production plans and work with Supply Planning to address any potential gaps.
- Use EPOS, forecast and stock information to understand changing customer demand.
- Keep customer forecasts up to date and contribute to our monthly forecasting and S&OP cycle.
- Coordinate stock movements and make sure the right levels of stock are available within our external warehouses.
- Support the introduction of new products and SKUs into our customers’ supply chains.
- Prepare customer service reporting, investigate service failures and make sure corrective actions are followed through.
- Lead regular customer review meetings and calls, building trusted relationships with key contacts.
- Use your judgement, influence decisions and make a visible difference to both customer service and the wider supply chain.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
