Customer Supply & Operations Manager
About Riley
We are a fast-growing period care start up on a mission to revolutionise period care through high performance, sustainable products. Our goal is to make period care better for people and the planet, ensuring accessibility, comfort and innovation. As we scale, we are looking for a sharp, hands-on Customer Supply & Operations Manager to run and scale the operational spine behind our growing DTC, retail, and B2B channels.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will sit at the center of our business, owning end-to-end order execution, 3PL logistics, stock allocations, and the core operational processes that keep the business running smoothly.
This role is built for a high-performing operator ready to take real ownership in a fast-scaling business. You will not only execute the daily detail; you will build, refine, and level-up our supply operations and internal infrastructure as we scale. We need someone who thrives on getting the details right, loves solving operational puzzles, and brings the drive to turn manual work into scalable, best-in-class processes that play a key role in supporting our growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Supply & Order Management
- End-to-End Order Execution: Own core order operations across all B2B, wholesale, and retail channels, managing purchase order receipt & placement, delivery scheduling, and retailer compliance to maintain a 98%+ perfect order rate.
- Channel Readiness & Setup: Own post-sale onboarding for new trade accounts, including vendor setups, compliance documentation, and customer spec requirements.
- Commercial Enablement: Partner with our sales and commercial teams to unblock daily delivery, stock, or custom account constraints with cost-effective, practical solutions—building out the tooling and processes as we scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

2. 3PL Operations & Supply Planning
- 3PL Operations & Performance Management: Act as the primary operational contact for our fulfillment partners, holding them accountable to rigorous SLAs around pick/pack accuracy, dispatch cut-offs, and inbound turnaround times. You will establish tighter KPIs, clear escalation pathways, and remove warehouse bottlenecks before they impact order fulfillment.
- Multi-Site Supply Planning & Inventory Control: Maintain granular visibility of stock cover across DTC channels, B2B/wholesale accounts, and multiple warehouse locations. You’ll define dynamic reorder points and manage cross-channel inventory allocations to prevent stockouts and protect core channel velocity.
- Operational Scale & Optimization: Look beyond daily execution to constantly improve how our supply network operates. As Riley grows, you will help lead the expansion into new warehouse sites, refine stock-allocation models, and optimize our fulfillment setup to support rapid volume expansion.
3. Operational Finance & Process Infrastructure
- Invoicing & Customer Accounts: Oversee dispatch-triggered invoicing, log remittances, and monitor aged accounts to keep cash collection tight.
- Finance Execution: Prepare vendor payment runs, verify stock reconciliations, and investigate invoice or deduction discrepancies.
- Build Systems, Reporting & Infrastructure: Identify friction points across our order and inventory tools—building clean data templates, automated order tracking, stock visibility dashboards, and core operational reporting to give the business clear insights and future-proof the function.
