If you are a Customer Support Administrator professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in Cumbernauld, United Kingdom.
As part of our Customer Support team, you will provide high-quality commercial and administrative support throughout the quotation-to-order process, helping deliver an outstanding customer experience. In this role, you will collaborate with customers, sales teams, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure enquiries, quotations, orders, and associated documentation are managed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company processes and quality standards.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provide professional, accurate, and timely support for customer enquiries received through approved communication channels.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers regarding quotations, orders, and order status updates.
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations in line with established procedures, pricing guidance, and approval requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to gather technical and commercial information required to support customer needs.
- Review and process customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness before entry into business systems.
- Generate order acknowledgements and associated documentation while supporting on-time order fulfilment.
- Support contract review activities and help identify customer, commercial, documentation, delivery, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate proactively with customers and stakeholders regarding order progress, shipment updates, and service requests.
- Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and order information within approved systems and databases.
- Support quality, trade compliance, and ethical business practices through accurate record keeping and adherence to established procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer service, operational efficiency, and data quality.
- Work collaboratively across teams to achieve shared objectives and deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Who You Are:

You consistently produce accurate, high-quality work through careful attention to detail and effective organisation of priorities and deadlines. You collaborate openly with others, gather relevant information to address challenges, and adapt positively to changing priorities while acting in a manner consistent with high ethical and professional standards.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- A higher education qualification, vocational qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in customer service, customer support, sales administration, order management, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.
- Familiarity with ERP (Oracle & JDE) and CRM systems.
- Experience supporting international customers, sales organisations, or channel partners.
- Knowledge of quotation management, contract review, customer support, or order management processes.
