About The Role

As a Customer Support Administrator, you will serve as the primary contact for clients at our Silverstone-based operation. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of £24,000 per annum, with working hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Your duties involve managing enquiries, processing orders with precision, and maintaining service standards throughout each customer interaction. The Role

As a Customer Support Administrator, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the customer journey.

Due to the location of the office, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, as public transport options are limited.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Handling customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels.
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Producing and following up sales quotations.
  • Maintaining customer records and updating information on internal systems.
  • Managing data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Monitoring order progress and keeping customers informed of updates.
  • Assisting with back-order management and order tracking.
  • Running reports and maintaining accurate system data.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative duties as required.
  • Gathering customer feedback and identifying opportunities for service improvements.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Previous office-based customer service experience.
  • Strong telephone customer service skills and confidence communicating with customers.
  • Excellent data entry and administration skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A professional, friendly, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Please Note

This role is best suited to candidates with experience in an office or business support environment. Whilst customer-facing skills are important, applicants from purely retail customer service backgrounds may not have the level of administrative and order-processing experience required for this position.
