About The Role
The Customer Support Engineer (International) role at ECS offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of communication technology. This position involves installing, commissioning, and supporting sophisticated RF and datalink systems across various international locations. The role requires extensive travel, often to remote or challenging environments, to deliver on-site technical support, customer training, and system demonstrations. You will collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring seamless operation of communication systems for our global clients. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, eager to travel, and capable of working independently in diverse settings. Qualifications
- Proven experience in RF communications, networking, or datalink systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of communication system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver technical training and presentations confidently.
- Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different cultural and operational environments.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Military experience in communications or networking is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications or technical qualifications in RF, networking, or related fields are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission advanced RF and datalink communication systems at customer sites worldwide.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), site surveys, and customer trials to validate system performance.
- Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for networking and communication systems in diverse environments.
- Deliver engaging customer training sessions and live demonstrations to ensure effective system utilization.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, test results, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Travel extensively to various international locations, often working independently in remote or challenging conditions.
