About The Role
We are currently seeking a Graduate Customer Support & Accounts Advisor to join our team in Reading, Berkshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates with an accounting-related degree to develop their careers within a supportive and dynamic environment. The position involves providing first-line support to customers via phone and email, addressing accountancy-related queries, and assisting in maintaining accurate records within internal systems. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree that includes Accounting or a related discipline, or hold an equivalent accounting qualification. Previous customer service experience of at least six months gained within retail, hospitality, leisure, or similar environments is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a professional and approachable manner at all times. The ability to stay calm and organized when managing multiple priorities is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist customers, are key attributes for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Providing first-line support to customers via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Responding to customer inquiries related to accountancy, billing, or service issues with accuracy and efficiency.
- Researching and resolving complex account-related questions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Building and maintaining a solid understanding of accounting processes and the company's specialist products/services.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and updating internal systems accordingly.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and streamline internal processes for greater efficiency.
