What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a First Line Support on a permanent basis within the UK Product Support division. This position falls under our Epyx line of business and is based in our Meriden office. In this role you will be a first point of contact for users of the 1link system including service centres and drivers. The role handles telephone, web chat and email enquiries, resolves first-line issues, manages future work bookings and keeps accurate records while delivering a clear, professional customer experience. You will report into the Technical Support Manager and regularly collaborate with other teams within the division.

As a First Line Support, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in the Meriden office

Role Responsibilities
- Responding to telephone, web chat and email enquiries from service centre users, drivers, and other authorised contacts.
- Understanding the query, provide clear guidance and resolve routine 1link issues using agreed procedures.
- Taking ownership of enquiries, keep customers informed and escalate when needed.
- Handling complaints and challenging conversations calmly and professionally.
- Scheduling future work and workshop bookings through 1link.
- Checking vehicle, driver, service centre and work details before confirming a booking.
- Managing cancellations, changes and alternative arrangements, keeping all parties informed.
- Recording each interaction, action and outcome accurately in the CRM or ticketing system.
- Applying the correct category and priority, and capture useful diagnostic information.
- Escalating unresolved queries with a clear summary, evidence and steps already taken.
- Tracking open enquiries, provide updates and handle customer information securely.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of supported 1link products and processes.
- Sharing call, email and booking workloads to maintain service coverage.
- Following agreed procedures, keep support guidance accurate and flag recurring issues.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous customer service experience, ideally in a first line or help-desk environment.
- Clear telephone, verbal and written communication, with strong listening skills.
- Able to resolve queries and handle difficult conversations calmly.
- Confident using Microsoft applications and learning new systems.
- Organised and accurate when managing several tasks or priorities.
- Experience of 1link or another automotive related platform is beneficial.
- Experience of CRM, incident-management or ticketing systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the automotive, fleet, leasing or vehicle maintenance industry is beneficial.
- Customer focused and approachable.
- Calm and resilient under pressure.
- A practical problem solver with sound judgement.
- Organised, accurate and able to multitask.
- Flexible, collaborative and willing to support the team.
