About The Role

We are seeking a Graduate Customer Support & Accounts Advisor to join our dynamic team in Reading, Berkshire. This role is ideal for recent graduates with an accounting-related degree who are eager to develop their customer service skills and deepen their understanding of accounting processes within a commercial environment. Qualifications

  • A degree that includes Accounting or a related discipline, or hold an equivalent accounting qualification.
  • At least six months of customer service experience gained in environments such as retail, hospitality, leisure, or other customer-facing industries.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to stay calm and organized when managing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude with a genuine desire to assist customers.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line support to customers via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional assistance.
  • Responding to customer inquiries in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner to foster positive relationships.
  • Researching and resolving accountancy-related queries, utilizing available resources and internal systems.
  • Building knowledge of accounting processes, products, and services to better support customer needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless customer service and achieve organizational goals.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and streamline internal processes for increased efficiency.
