About The Role
Graduate Customer Support & Accounts Advisor is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates with an accounting-related degree or equivalent qualification. Based in Reading, Berkshire, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a salary of 24,800 per annum. The successful candidate will join a dynamic customer support team, providing essential first-line assistance to clients via phone and email. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop accounting knowledge within a commercial environment while honing customer service skills. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, resolving accountancy-related issues, and supporting internal processes to ensure a seamless customer experience. Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess a degree that includes Accounting or a related discipline, or hold an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Additionally, candidates should have at least six months of customer service experience gained within retail, hospitality, leisure, or similar environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a professional and approachable manner.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to stay calm and organized when managing multiple priorities, possess analytical and problem-solving skills, and exhibit a positive attitude with a genuine desire to assist customers.
Responsibilities
- Providing first-line support to customers via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Responding to customer inquiries related to accountancy issues with accuracy and efficiency.
- Researching and resolving complex accountancy-related queries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Building and maintaining knowledge of accounting processes and specialized products or services offered by the company.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and updating internal systems accordingly.
- Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and streamline internal processes for better efficiency.
