About The Role
We are seeking a Graduate Customer Support & Accounts Advisor to join our expanding team. This role is based in Reading, Berkshire, and offers a hybrid working model, combining both office and remote work arrangements. The position offers an attractive salary of 24,800 per annum, along with comprehensive training and development opportunities.
As a Customer Support & Accounts Advisor, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing professional support and resolving account-related inquiries. This role provides a unique opportunity for recent graduates with an accounting-related degree to develop their customer service skills while deepening their understanding of accounting processes in a commercial setting.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and building a career in finance.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a degree that includes Accounting or a related discipline, or hold an equivalent accounting qualification. Prior experience of at least 6 months in customer service within sectors such as retail, hospitality, leisure, or support roles is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized when managing multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude, genuine desire to assist customers, and a proactive approach to learning
Responsibilities
- Providing first-line support to customers via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding accountancy-related issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- Researching and resolving complex account queries, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
- Building and maintaining knowledge of accounting processes, products, and services to better assist customers.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and updating internal systems accordingly.
- Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to ensure excellent customer outcomes and seamless service delivery.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and suggest improvements to internal processes.
