At GoFibre, we're on a mission to transform communities with lightning-fast broadband, and we're looking for a technically minded problem solver to join our growing Technical Support team.
This is a hands-on technical support position where you’ll be speaking with customers every day, investigating faults, troubleshooting connectivity issues, identifying major incidents and helping to keep our customers connected.
It's a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in IT, networking, broadband, or technical troubleshooting who's looking to build real technical experience. You'll gain exposure to more complex Line 2 investigations, broaden your technical knowledge, and develop skills that can open doors to future opportunities.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, loves getting to the bottom of technical issues, and understands that not everyone is a tech expert. You'll be able to translate technical jargon into plain English, show patience when helping customers, and deliver a great experience even when dealing with complex faults.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
