As a Customer Verification Specialist, you'll play a vital role in protecting both customers and the business by carrying out detailed validation and verification checks. Working within a high-volume environment, you'll be responsible for reviewing customer information, verifying documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring every decision is accurate, compliant, and customer-focused. This role requires someone who can balance speed with precision, maintaining exceptional attention to detail without compromising accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate customer documentation and policy information with a high degree of accuracy
- Conduct verification checks in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Identify inconsistencies, risks, and potential fraudulent activity
- Record outcomes accurately and maintain comprehensive audit trails
- Liaise with customers via phone and email where additional information is required
- Work closely with underwriting and customer care teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within motor insurance, insurance operations, policy validation, verification, or customer administration
- Strong attention to detail and a naturally investigative mindset
- Ability to work accurately within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience handling sensitive customer information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach

Highly Desirable
- Motor insurance experience
- Validation or verification experience
- Fraud prevention, compliance, AML, KYC, or risk assessment exposure
- Experience working within regulated environments
- Customer service or operational support experience within insurance
