About the role
Working Tuesday to Saturday, 9am–5pm on a Fixed Term Contract of 9 months, you’ll support day-to-day customs administration and freight bookings for trailer movements and container traffic. This role is key to ensuring goods move smoothly across borders, with strong compliance and accurate documentation at every stage.
You will be responsible for:
- Completing customs administration for movements between the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, the UK, and the EU
- Managing freight bookings for trailers, short sea, and deep-sea container movements
- Ensuring customs documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
- Liaising with internal teams, carriers, and external partners to support shipments
- Monitoring shipments and resolving customs or documentation issues
- Updating systems and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting smooth end-to-end freight movements in a busy operational environment
About you
You’ll have experience in customs administration, ideally covering movements between Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK, with a strong understanding of trailer freight. Experience with short sea and ocean freight is desirable. You’ll be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, comfortable working under pressure, and confident managing multiple tasks at once. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and takes pride in getting the details right will succeed in this role.
