It's more than a job

As a Customs Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, your job is to optimise logistics to keep our global supply chains running smoothly. But the impact of your work goes beyond that. In fact, your expertise makes both special and ordinary moments possible for people around the world. For example, your work could ensure that a global product launch happens on time—such as ethically sourced beauty and bath products stocked at local stores for your loved one's valued self-care routine. It's import and export work, but it's also so much more than we imagine.

Are you organised, customer-focused and interested in building your career within customs and logistics?

As a Customs Brokerage Specialist, you will join our International Forwarding team in Dartford on a one-year fixed-term contract, supporting the accurate and timely processing of customs documentation and helping to keep our customers’ goods moving.

Working closely with internal teams and external customers, you will play an important role in ensuring customs activities are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with company procedures and HM Revenue & Customs requirements. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where customer excellence is at the heart of what we do.

How you create impact

  • Process customs documentation, reviewing all information received to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete data entry requirements accurately and within the required timelines.
  • Ensure customs activities comply with company procedures and HM Revenue & Customs requirements.
  • Use internal systems and Microsoft Office to process and maintain customs-related information.
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve issues through email, telephone and video calls.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth and efficient customs operations.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail across all administrative activities.
  • Support the wider Customs team with general administration duties when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
